The Power Supply is made against (220V/110V AC) market. It has the following advantages/features:
It is acceptable to work in any glass shape. For example, a PS that covers 5 sqm will work no matter if using film by 1x 5m or 1.25x4m.
Overcurrent protective device (fuse) is included in each Power Supply.
Power unit is manufactured under CE standard, (Product Safety,
Electrical appliance and materials).
We have a long experience with these power supply units (over 5 years).
Supply 220/110V to the film with power , the charge remains to LC. This condition isn’t good for LC, it will affect the lifetime. The Power Supply has a function to remove this charge.
What electricity protection the Power Supply has?
To avoid an accident by overcurrent, a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermistor is mounted in the power unit.
When the PTC thermistor is heated by the overcurrent, the current is limited by the thermistor. After that, if the current decreases to normal condition and temperature of thermistor drops to RT, the thermistor recovers to nomal condition.
