Smart Film glass that turns opaque
Smart Film Glass works by applying a switchable film to a pane of glass, which can instantly change from clear to opaque. This works by passing an electrical current through the LCD interlayer, and can be operated using a standard lighting switch or remote control. An adjacent power supply is required, as is the provision to place/hide a transformer.
Smart film can be retro fitted to any window or partition, however we recommend that it is fitted in our purpose built ‘clean-room’ facility.
The product is particularly perfect for use on glass partitions in boardrooms and conference rooms, as a quick an easy way to add instant privacy during important meetings. Not only does this provide the same level of privacy as standard window blinds, it also adds a truly amazing effect when switched on, which is enough to impress any visitors.
Smart Film Glass is also a great way of providing security to an area, particularly in offices where valuable equipment would usually be on display.
